ASD – A Deeper Perspective
A follow on from ‘ASD an Introduction’ to deepen knowledge of ASD and the impact this has on pupils social and academic progress in school. The course will review prior knowledge of ASD and include information about the 3 main psychological theories to further highlight and explain the difficulties that pupils with ASD experience and underpin the often inappropriate manner in which pupils may respond in different situations. This course will also highlight appropriate strategies to meet the social and academic needs of pupils with ASD so they can be fully included in the Mainstream setting.
It would be useful if delegates have previously attended ‘An Awareness of ASD’ or similar.
